Mrs. Thomas M. Miller died last Sunday at the age of 87 years. Funeral service was held Monday from Beam & Miller chapel with Rev. W. N. Lundquist, Moline, Ill., in charge. Burial was in Green cemetery near Morley.

Casketbearers were Herbert Smith, Harve Northey, Fred Minecke, Earl Duncan, Rolly Duncan and Claire Miller.

Mrs. Miller was born Madonna Sarah Norton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Norton, near Morley on Jan. 5, 1855. She attended Walnut Grove school. On Nov. 1, 1878, she married Thomas M. Miller in Rome township.

Survivors are one son, Claire Miller, Anamosa, and one sister, Mrs. Miranda Gerhart, Anamosa.
