Nancy Ann Jensen, 88, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 1980 at the Anamosa Community Hospital.

She was born in Floyd County near Indian Valley, Virginia, on August 5, 1891, the daughter of Asa and Nancy Duncan.

Nancy came to Iowa in 1913 where she met and married Louis C. Jensen. They were married at Fergus Falls, Minnesota in 1915. They spent the first part of their married life in Linn County. They later moved to Martelle and farmed until 1937 when they moved to Onslow and farmed. They retired to town in 1947.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Ila) Westphal of Onslow, Mrs. Merle (Minnie) Welty of Onslow and Mrs. Daryl (Edna) Jansen of Borger, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two children, four brothers and three sisters.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 19th at the Onslow Presbyterian Church. Rev. Loren Simpson and Pastor Dan Johnson officiated. Burial was in South Mineral Cemetery, Onslow. Pallbearers were John Julifs, Edwin Juilfs, Donald Jansen, John Gerdes, Loyd Westphal and Calvin Reiss.
