Wilbur Hoelker, 73, died at his home in Onslow, March 23, born Oct. 9, 1906 in Iowa. Son of John and Ina Johnson Hoelker. Attending rural school near Kimball where he was raised.

Married Elizebeth Meyer at Mitchel, S.D. Sept. 29, 1926. The couple lived in the Newton-Baxter area until late 30's when they moved to Davenport where he worked in a flour mill. After several years the couple moved near Baldwin and later near Canton where he farmed. Early 1970 they retired and moved to Onslow.

Survivors include: four sister, Mrs. Mary Mjoifneff, Silvis, Ill; Mrs. Ruth Stephon, Pukwana, S.D.; Mrs. Velma Lopez, and Mrs. LaVon Peterson, both of Davenport; one brother, Frank of Fisk, MO.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, five brothers and one sister.

Services were held Thursday, March 27 at 10:30 at Haydens, Wyoming, with Rev. Frederick Keil of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Wyoming Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: John Snyder, Richard DeLarm, David Carmack, Floyd Neal, Marvin Null Sr. and LaVern Taylor.
