OLIN--Mrs. Edgar Baker, 89, former resident of Olin, died Monday night, Aug. 14, in the Kirkwood Nursing home, Davenport, after an illness of a year and a half.

Former Jennie Lawson was born Feb. 29, 1872, in Wahoo, Nebr. She was married to Edgar Baker on April 12, 1891. He died in 1910.

Mrs. Baker became a Christian Science practitioner in 1924 and practiced for 30 years.

She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Virginia Grafft, Olin, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers, her husband and a daughter.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16 in the Hill and Fredericks chapel, Davenport. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.
