ONSLOW--Mrs. Isaac Edwards, 78, Onslow, died Thursday, July 27, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 29 at the Onslow Presbyterian church. Rev. Wayne Norris officiated at the service. Burial was in the Buckhorn cemetery, Maquoketa.

Pallbearers included Floyd Chatterton, Herschel Soesbe, Harold Heideman, jr., Calvin Reiss, Dillon Hall and Frank Byerly.

Mrs. C. R. Smith, Wyoming, was organist.

She was born Nov. 10, 1882, daughter of George and Eltyra Widel Pratt, on a farm near Nashville. She received her formal education in the Monmouth public school.

She was married June 22, 1904, to Isaac Edwards at Maquoketa. Couple made their home in the Monmouth area until 1929, when they moved to Onslow.

She was a member of the Onslow Presbyterian church and the Womans Christian guild.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Alva, Elkader, and Ralph, Maquoketa; a daughter, Mrs. Minta Ripperton, Onslow; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, her parents and three brothers.
