WYOMING--Funeral service for James McDonald, 75, Washta, who died Saturday at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, following a two-week illness was held Monday afternoon from the Harrington Funeral home in Wyoming with the Rev. The deceased, a native of the community west of Wyoming, was reared here but for more than 40 years operated a jewelry store in Washta. He was a member of the A.F. and A.M., I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges of Washta and served as president of the Iowa Optometrists association for several years. He was married in 1890 to Jennie Day, Wyoming, who survives with one sister and three brothers: Mary Ellen McDonald, Cedar Rapids; Will, Los Angeles; George, Center Junction, and J. L., Wyoming.
