OXFORD JUNCTION--Sanford E. McClure, 82, was buried Saturday afternoon with final rites held in the Hayden chapel at 2 p.m. Rev. R. C. Scott, pastor of the Methodist church of Wyoming had charge of the service.

Music was furnished by Mrs. Fred Lasack and Mrs. Fred Sacora with Mrs. James Kotlinek accompanying them. They sang "Good Night and Good Morning", "At the End of the Road" and "I'm a Pilgrim." Pallbearers were Charles Benhart, Fred Wasoba, L. Ahrendsen, C. H. Jones, Antone Vanicek and John Burda, jr. The service at the grave was in charge of the members of the Zealous Lodge A.F. & A.M., with Peter Smith, Atlantic, reading the service. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

Mr. McClure died at the home of his son Friday afternoon following an illness of pneumonia. He was born a mile west of Oxford Junction on Oct. 12, 1859, and spent the most of his 82 years in this community where he engaged in farming and on retiring from the farm for eight years he operated a general store in Oxford Mills. He has been retired from all business activities for some time.

He was married to Anna Morten at Oxford Mills, who with one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Ballou, preceded him in death. Two sons, Fred and Forest McClure, Oxford Mills, survive and four grandchildren, Sanford Richard and Merilyne McClure, Oxford Mills, and Velma Ballou, Chicago.
