Harry D. Moore, 88, of Onslow, died January 29, 1980 at the Senior Home in Monticello.

He was born on December 23, 1891, in Missouri, the son of George and Eliza Fitch Moore.

In 1917 Harry entered the army for three years. During WW I he served in France and Germany.

On April 28, 1921, he married Mary Hinrichs Null at Anamosa. The couple lived in Onslow nearly all of their married life. Harry worked in and around Onslow during that time. In 1975 they moved to the Monticello Senior Home.

Surviving him are his wife, Mary; two sons, Lester Null of Cedar Rapids and Marvin of Onslow, seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, four brothers and one sister.

Services were held on Thursday, January 31, at the Hayden Funeral Home in Wyoming with burial in Wyoming Cemetery. Pastor Dan Johnson officiated. Loren Hartwig was soloist and Mrs. Thomas Paulsen was organist. Pallbearers were Rolland Himes, Fred Himes, Loren Himes, Charles Himes, Marvin Null, Jr., and Paul Null.
