Lulu R. Williams, 74, died Thursday, Jan. 3, at Monticello Senior Home. Born in Jackson County July 27, 1905, daughter of Frank and Lutie Butt Ripperton. Married Leland Williams Feb. 21, 1925 at Maquoketa. Had lived in the Onslow vicinity since 1932. Resided at the Monticello Senior Home since June of 1979.

Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Helen) McMillion, Walled Lake, Michigan, and six sons, Gale, Center Junction; Wayne, Miles; Blair (Pee Wee), Oxford Junction; Gerald (Joe), Cedar Rapids; Larry, Wyoming; and Ronnie, Marion. 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Alice Beckham, Tacoma, Washington.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son Lyle, two brothers and two sisters.

Services held Sunday, June 6, at Hayden Funeral Home, Wyoming, with burial in Canton Cemetery, Canton.
