OLIN--Emma Olive Cozart, 69, Olin, died on Wednesday, Feb. 27, following a lingering illness, at the Brandt Nursing home, Wyoming.

Prayer service for the family was held at the Hayden Funeral home, Olin, at 11:15 a.m., on Saturday, March 2.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m., at the Funeral home. Rev. Lloyd Dutro, pastor of the Olin E.U.B. church, officiated at the service. Interment was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers included Bliss Switzer, Maynard Gordon, Harlan Henderson, Gordon Freeman, Hallie Byrd and William Reese.

She was born March 2, 1893, daughter of Benjamin and Mary Ridinour Sweitzer, New Stanton, Pa. She came to Iowa at the age of 17 years and had made her home in Iowa since that time.

She was married Oct. 23, 1911, to Albert Cozart, at Tipton. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church, Olin.

Survivors include three sons, Lester, Readlyn; Herbert, Jefferson; Harlan, Olin; three daughters, Nora, Mrs. Louis Koffron, Olin; Velma, Mrs. Melvyn Threlkeld, Williamsburg; and Helen, Mrs. Kenneth Lund, Clarence.

Others include two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Landis and Mrs. Pearl Markle, both of New Stanton, Pa.; two brothers, Joe Sweitzer, Armburst, Pa.; and Alvah Sweitzer, Wardenvsville, W. Va.; 14 grandchildren and a large number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oct. 3, 1947; her parents; one sister; two brothers; and a son, Harold, at the age of six years.
