Burial service for Mrs. Harriett Harvey Gerber, widow of the late John Gerber, who died Friday at the home of her daughter in Washington, D.C., was held Wednesday afternoon at Riverside cemetery.

Smykil funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gerber is survived by her daughter, Mrs. D. Harlow, Washington, D.C.

She was married to John Gerber Nov. 17, 1886, in Anamosa, and they made their home here until 1903 when Mr. Gerber, employee of Southern Railway, was transferred to Washington.

Mr. Gerber preceded her in death Dec. 10, 1940, and re-interment services were held in Anamosa April 21.
