Funeral services were held for L. C. (Laddie) Peckosh, 70 at 10:30 on Wednesday, October 24, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial was at Mayflower Cemetery. Scripture service was Tuesday evening at the Hayden Funeral Home. The Rev. R. J. Sigwarth officiated at the services.

The pallbearers included, Leonard Lasack, Emil Lasack, John Pashek, Jerry Mulvihill, Edward Ruley and Lynn Lasack.

Mr. Peckosh died Saturday evening October 20, at the Winslow House Care Center, Marion, where he had been a resident for a short time.

He was born November 23, 1908 in Oxford Junction, the son of John and Christina Lasack Peckosh.

He graduated from the University of Iowa in the College of Pharmacy. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Oxford Junction for over 30 years, retiring seven years ago.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors are two brothers, Lumir Peckosh of Cresco and Dr. Frank Peckosh of Lost Nation; one sister, Mrs. Mary Kleineck of Oxford Junction and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.
