OLIN--Ray A. Chatterton, 79, died Thursday, July 13, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 15, at 2 p.m., at the Campbell Funeral home, Olin. Harold Huebner officiated at the services. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers included Glenn Phillips, George Phillips, Frank Zaruba, Charles Burgess, Don Starry and Herbert Levsen.

He was born in Hale township, four miles southeast of Olin, son of Henry and Alice Chatterton. He had spent his entire life in this community.

Survivors include a niece, Hazel Chatterton and several cousins.
