Oliver O. Grover, 63, passed away Monday, October 15, at the John McDonald Hospital in Monticello, Iowa.

Oliver was born on June 10, 1916, near Lost Nation, Iowa, to Clifton and Anna Brantman Grover. He graduated from Lost Nation High School in 1934, and then served overseas in the U.S. Army during WWII. After returning from the Army in 1946, he farmed in the Wyoming and Onslow areas until his death.

He is survived by one brother, Elmer of DeWitt; his twin sister, Olive Gibson of Wyoming; two nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Services were held on Thursday, October 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral home in Wyoming, with burial in the Wyoming Cemetery. Rev. Kenneth Hamann officiated.

Pallbearers were Blaine Gibson, Kenneth Smith, Kenneth Starr, Lowell Starr, Ronald Starr and Andy Perry. Flag presentation was by Wyoming American Legion Post #259.
