John H. Schrader, 94, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, at the Senior Home in Monticello. He was born on March 31, 1885 in Jackson County, Iowa, the son of Dietrich and Minnie Boyart Schrader.

John farmed with his parents nearly all his life in the Jackson and Jones County area. The last three years he has been at the Senior Home in Monticello.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Hans (Lena) Peterson of Marion, IA, and was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Wyoming Cemetery by Rev. Kenneth Hamann.
