MORLEY--Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth McCleary, 83, who died Tuesday at her home here after a long illness, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Morley Methodist church. Rev. Lamont Smith, Brandon, will conduct the service, assisted by Rev. Trevor Baskerville. Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery.

Daughter of Amsey and Nancy Lindly, Mrs. McCleary was born Elizabeth Lindly on Dec. 30, 1857, in Jones county. She spent her entire life in the southern part of the county. She was united in marriage to William McCleary who preceded her in death in 1894.

Five daughters were born to the union, three of whom preceded her in death. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Zona B. Wickey, Galva, Ill., and Mrs. Mamie G. Brazelton, Los Angeles, Calif.; a step son, Charles E. McCleary with whom she has made her home since the death of her husband; a step daughter, Mrs. Ada Courtney, Anamosa; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and two brothers, George O. Lindly and Ulysses Lindly, Richland Center, Wis.

Mrs. McCleary was an active member of the Morley Methodist church.
