Mabel A. Voss, 82, Olin, died September 18 at the Clarence Nursing Home, Clarence, IA.

She was born May 10, 1897 near Lost Nation, IA, the daughter of John and Wilhelmina Sadeivasser Schultz, she married William Voss at her family home near Olin, December 5, 1927. The Vosses farmed near Olin until his retirement due to poor health. Mr. Voss died in 1973.

They were members of St. John's Lutheran Church, Olin, and Mabel was a member of the Miriam Circle of the church.

Mrs. Voss is survived by one son, John and one granddaughter Marcie Anne Voss, Olin; one brother, Emil Schultz of Ceres, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and three sisters.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20, at St. John's Lutheran church, Olin, with burial in Olin Cemetery. Rev. Frank Philipp officiating. Miss Gayle Hartwig was soloist and Mrs. Greg Von Behren was organist. Pallbearers were Marvin Brunscheen, George Brunscheen, Alvin Brunscheen, Harry Schultz, Robert D. Petersen and Arno Lawson.
