Marilyn Viola Fritz, 47, passed away at her home in Wyoming, Thursday, August 30.

Marilyn was born on September 21, 1931 north of Monmouth, IA the daughter of Harlan and Gladys Johnson Miller.

After graduating from Solon High she was united in marriage to Frank Fritz on June 14, 1953 at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church. Except for four months in Nebraska, the couple had lived their entire lives at Wyoming. They farmed south of Wyoming until 1974 when they moved to town.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Frank, two daughters, Diane and Janet both of Iowa City, and one son Faron of Wyoming; her mother, Gladys Goody of Maquoketa; two brothers, Harlan Miller of Monmouth and Stephen Graham of Des Moines; one sister Donna Jackson of Maquoketa.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services were held Saturday, September 1, 1979 at the Hayden Funeral Home in Wyoming by Pastor Dan Johnson. Burial was at the Wyoming Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Fred Luckstead, Raymond Nodurft, Mike Hutchins, Dale Andrews, Anthony Schirmer, and Paul Portz.
