OXFORD JUNCTION--Word was received here last week of the death of Cornelius Lester Van Sickle, former resident of Oxford Junction but at the time of his death a resident of St. Paul, Minn.

He died suddenly of a heart attack in a hotel room at Owatonna, Minn., Monday afternoon, April 14. Mr. Van Sickle was sales manager for the Cities Service Oil Co. He was born in Oxford Junction, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Van Sickle, and was graduated from the Oxford Junction high school.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Van Sickle; two brothers, J. G. and Dolph Van Sickle, Springville, and a sister, Mrs. H K. Focht, Cedar Rapids. The body was brought to Cedar Rapids where funeral service was held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Turner chapel with burial in Oak Hill cemetery.
