OLIN--Funeral service for A. A. Cole, 82, veteran attorney and former newspaper publisher, who died here Tuesday after a long illness, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the United Brethren church.

Rev. Boston, pastor of church, will officiate and burial will be in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Cole was editor and publisher of the Olin Recorder for 30 years and had practiced law in Olin since he was admitted to the bar in 1900. Active in the United Brethren church, he was superintendent of the Sunday school for 28 years.

Born Jan. 1, 1859, in the Pleasant Hill community near Olin, Mr. Cole attended school here and was the first graduate of Olin college, no longer in existence. He was a member of the Masonic order and of Knights of Pythias lodge. His wife preceded him in death Jan. 23, 1927.

He is survived by six children: Raymond R. Cole, Olin; Glenn F. Cole, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Mrs. Delbert Smith, Morley; Mrs. Henry Broderson, Wyoming; Mrs. Fletcher Van Alstine, Gilmore City, and Mrs. R. S. Gardner, Casper, Wyo.
