John Joseph Klocke, 25, passed away Sunday, June 17, near Onslow. John was born September 13, 1953 at Cascade, the son of Elmer and Eva Mae Manternach Klocke.

John was raised in the Cascade, Monticello and Monmouth areas and graduated from Midland High in 1971.

On December 21, 1974 at Wyoming he married Patricia Soper. They lived at Temple Hill one and half years and since that time in Wyoming. John worked at Caterpillar Tractor in Mt. Joy for the last five years and parttime for Dave Soper Plumbing and Heating in Wyoming.

John is survived by his wife Patricia; one son Chad, age 4; one daughter Jennifer, age one and 1/2; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Klocke of Monmouth; eight brothers Ralph, Steve, Jim, Greg, Mark, Gary, Bob and Jeff, all of rural Monmouth; four nieces; one nephew and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Services were held Wednesday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming by Pastor James Mattson and Father John Kremer. Burial was at the Wyoming Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ralph Klocke, Steve Klocke, Jim Klocke, Greg Klocke, Mark Klocke, Gary Klocke, Bob Klocke and Jeff Klocke.
