MONTICELLO -- Mrs. William Burrack, 64, Denver, Iowa, former resident of Monticello, died Monday, April 24, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m., at St. Matthew Lutheran church, Monticello. Rev. Arnold E. Schlueter, pastor, assisted by Dr. Emmuel Fuchs, Tripoli, officiated at the service. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery.

Pallbearers included Ben H. Behrends, David Henderson, John Burrack, Henry Ricklefs, John Ricklefs and Carl Ricklefs.

She was born Aug. 23, 1896, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ricklefs, Bowens Prairie township near Monticello. She was married to Rev. William Burrack, July 11, 1918, in St. Matthew Lutheran church, Monticello.

Burracks made their home in Danzig, Rosebud, N.Dak.; Bancroft, Hartford and Parston, S. Dak., and since 1946 in Denver, Iowa, where she assisted her husband in church duties.

Survivors include her husband, three children, Louis Burrack, Anamosa; Rev. Richard Burrack, Plainfield, and Marilyn, Mrs. Roger Fjeld, Sedalia, Mo.

Others include a brother, Elmer Ricklefs, Dubuque; three sisters, Minnie Ricklefs, Dubuque; Clara, Mrs. Ben Behrends, Monticello; and Edna, Mrs. David Henderson, Tipton.
