Clayton R. Countryman of Mantorville, Minnesota was born in Wyoming, April 8, 1896, the son of John and Ella Countryman. He passed away at Rochester, Minnesota on April 24.

Funeral services were held in Kasson, Minnesota on April 26. A military graveside service was held at 1 p.m. in the Wyoming cemetery. He served in the Army in World War II, and was a member of the American Legion at Wyoming.

Surviving is Inez, his wife for over 50 years.

Preceding him in death were two sons, Junior and Cecil, both having died at a very early age, three brothers and his parents.
