Onslow News--James McManus, farmer resident northeast of Onslow, passed away Sunday evening, February 18 at Mercy hospital in Anamosa. Mr. McManus had contracted pneumonia following a recent major operation. He had never married and is survived by his sister, Miss Alice McManus, who shared his home and another sister, Mrs. Annie McDonald of Castle Grove. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Peter's church at Temple Hill and burial made in the adjoining cemetery.
