OXFORD JUNCTION--Mrs. Lena Juehring, 77, Oxford Junction, died Saturday evening, Jan. 28, following a lingering illness at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gade, Tipton. Body was brought to the Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 1:30 p.m., at the Methodist church. Rev. Edwin Otte, Lowden, conducted the service. Burial was in the cemetery at Massillon.

Pallbearers included six grandsons, Raymond Juehring, Earl Gade, Donald Juehring, Robert Juehring, Dennis First and Kenneth Brinkman.

Mrs. Louis Vacek was organist. Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen and Mrs. Fred Lasack were soloists.

She was born Lena Hamdorf, Aug. 11, 1883, daughter of John and Margaret Burmeister Hamdorf. Germany. She came to the United States when a young girl. In 1900 she was united in marriage to Ernest Juehring. He preceded her in death in 1929.

She had lived in the Massillon community. She had made her home with her sons, Walter Juehring, Oxford Junction, the last several years.

Survivors include 11 children, seven sons and four daughters. Sons include Ernest, Clarence; Harry, Lost Nation; Arnold, Cedar Rapids; Ervin, Toronto; Lawrence, Wheatland; and Harold and Walter, Oxford Junction.

Four daughters are Mrs. Anna Gade, Tipton; Mrs. Esther Brinkman, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Millard First, Wyoming; and Mrs. Betty Schade, Calamus.

Others include one brother, Chris Hamdorf, Massillon; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Hansen, Onslow; 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
