DIED.

Little—At her home In Monticello, Sunday October 20th, 1895, Adena Little, aged 28 years, 6 months, days, of consumption. By the death of Miss Little, Monticello loses one of its brightest and best esteemed young ladies, and a sorrowing husband and wife are deprived of the company, the love and the unselfish devotion of their last child, just one year before, lacking only six hours, Mr. and Mrs. Little lost their other daughter. By a coincidence of fate both were born gladden them, on the Sabbath day and both died on Sunday. Thus that day of the week has been their happiest, and it has brought them their greatest grief.
Miss Little was of such a cheerful disposition that she tried to laugh away the insidious and stealthy approach of disease. Neither good spirits nor medical skill could arrest its progress and the day came when hope fled, and she felt it her duty to offer the release of worthy young man of a neighboring city from his engagement to her. She looked unmoved into the great hereafter and was not afraid. Her greatest sorrow was in leaving her parents without a child to lean upon in the decline of life.

Miss Little was born at Scottsville, Virginia, April 14, 1867. A few years thereafter, she removed with her parents to West Virginia, and in 1880 came to Bowen's Prairie. Twelve years ago she came to Monticello with the family, and was educated at the Monticello high school. She was employed as a retoucher for several years in F.A. Coyle's photograph gallery, where she displayed much artistic skill.
The funeral services were attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends, last Tuesday afternoon. Rev. W. M. Purce of St. Thomas Mission, of which the deceased was a member, rendered the Episcopalian burial service. The remains were interred in Oakwood Cemetery with a large concourse of relatives and friends, last Tuesday afternoon. Rev. W. M.
