ONSLOW--Mrs. Paul Paulsen, sr., died of heart disease suddenly in the home Sunday evening.
Funeral service was held from the home Tuesday at 1 p.m. and in the Presbyterian church at 1:30. Frank Schroeder officiated. The five sons and a grandson, Paul Ernest, acted as pallbearers. Misses Wanda Bullock and Herta Gutzeit present two vocal duets. Burial was made in the Wyoming cemetery.
As Marie Dorothea Eickelberg, she was born in Meckelberg, Germany, March 18, 1864. She came to America when she was six years of age.
On Jan. 10, 1893 she was united in marriage to Paul Paulsen at Spragueville. To this union six children were born, who survive with the husband. They are Alvena, at home, and Paul jr., Edward, John, Harry and Emil, all living with a distance of five miles. There are also 11 grandchildren.
A sister, Mrs. Percy Fortner, Momence, and a brother, Fred Eickelberg, Preston, also survive.
