WYOMING--Ruth Elanor Bills, whose death occurred at Weiser, Idaho, Jan. 31 after a brief illness, was the youngest daughter of Sarah J. and the late Fred Bills. She was born in the Antioch community, Jan. 22, 1908. When she was 8 years old the family moved to a farm near City Point, Wis. Later they purchased a home in Wyoming and Ruth entered the sophomore class in the Wyoming high school, graduating from this school with the class of 1926. After the father's death in July of that year, she and her mother moved to Flint, Mich. Ruth then attended Michigan State college at Lansing from which she received her degree in Home economics. For six years she taught in the schools of Wall Lake and Nashville, Mich., then was a supervisor in the home economics department of the North Dakota State college at Fargo, until this last summer she assumed a like position in a vocational school at Weiser, Idaho. She is survived by her mother, Sarah J. Bills, Neillsville, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Esther Paulson, Neillsville; three brothers, Chester and Dilman, both of Flint, Mich.; Edwin, City Point, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
