Graveside services for Delbert Stingley, 96, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, in Olin cemetery, conducted by Rev. Edward Peterson.

Stingley who died in Friendship Village Home, Waterloo, Dec. 19 was a former owner and operator in partnership with his brother-in-law in a general store here.

He was born Dec. 28, 1881, near Olin, one of twin sons born to Jacob Henry and Fidelia Hammond Stingley. He married Lura Vaughn.

Stingley was an active member of Olin United Methodist Church until poor health forced his retirement.

He is survived by nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his wife in 1967, two sisters, two brothers and his parents.
