Funeral services were held for Lillian Koranda, 58, of 2010 W. 34th St., Davenport, on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Hayden's Funeral Home, Oxford Junction. Burial was at Mayflower Cemetery.

The Rev. Douglas Holmgren officiated at the services. Wapsie Post, American Legion, conducted military graveside services. Organist was Mrs. Lewis Hayden and vocalists were Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen and Mrs. Otto Koranda.

Pallbearers were Leonard Benischek, Herman Benischek, Otto Koranda, Richard Wink, Robert Nowachek and Marvin Vacek.

Miss Koranda died Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport.

She was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Oxford Junction, the daughter of Edward and Julia Beranek Koranda.

She was a graduate of Oxford Junction High School and served in the W.A.V.E.S. during World War II. She was employed as payroll clerk at the Rock Island Arsenal. She was also a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge.

Survivors are two brothers, Emile Koranda, Oxford Junction and Gilbert Koranda, Deland, FL; and two sisters, Frances Pahl, Davenport, and Velma Beerbower, Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
