Funeral services were held Oct. 24 for Eva L. Fisher, 91, who died Oct. 21 in Monticello.

Rev. Edward Petersen officiated at the 1:30 p.m. services in the Olin United Methodist Church. The organist was Mrs. Tom Levsen, Richard Frazier soloed.

Burial was in the Olin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Goldsbury, Allen Ahrends, Jim Schumacher, Randy Fisher, Larry Ericksen and Terry Fisher.

Fisher was born April 13, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Burris. On Feb. 19, 1903, she married John A. Fisher of Garrison.

After six years in Garrison, the couple bought a farm west of Olin, where they lived for 40 years. Mr. Fisher died in 1949. Mrs. Fisher moved to Olin in 1954 where she lived until 1974. At that time, she moved to the Senior Home, Monticello.

She is survived by four sons: Marvin and Delbert, Olin, Eldon, Stanwood, and Kenneth, Colorado Springs, CO; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jessie Rommann, Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John Jr., her husband and a brother.
