Mrs. Katie Fleckenstein, 85, former Anamosa resident, died at the State University hospital, Iowa City, Friday, Oct. 21.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 24, at 9 a.m., at St. Paul Catholic church, Worthington. Rev. Peters officiated at the service. Burial was in St. Paul cemetery, Worthington. McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa, was in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 11, 1875, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Stoll. She had spent the last nine years in a Nursing home in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Fleckenstein, Fort Madison, former manager of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., Anamosa; and Andy Fleckenstein, Cedar Rapids; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1953.
