OXFORD JUNCTION -- Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 2, from the Hayden funeral home at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Joe Milota, 84. Mrs. Milota died Saturday noon, July 30, at the Fejerary home in Davenport.

Rev. A. E. Piper conducted the service. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen and Mrs. Otto Koranda accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Hayden.

Serving as casketbearers were L. L. McCreight. L. C. Peckosh, Fred Buresh, William Shimanek, Otto Koranda and Raymond Benhart. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Milota was born Mary Wosoba, daughter of A. J. and Mary Willimack Wosoba, in Clinton county Aug. 26, 1876. She had always lived in this community and was united in marriage to Joe Milota Nov. 28, 1899. She was a member of the Lilac camp of the Royal Neighbors and of the Bohemian lodge Z.C.B.J.

She is survived by her husband; one son, Lumir, Davenport; one granddaughter, Mrs. Margaret Wells; two great-grandchildren, Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Tillie Pashek, Oxford Junction; and a brother, Louis, Berwyn, Ill.
