Funeral services were held for Spencer Scott Romer, 8, and Kelly Ann Stetler, 5, of Oxford Junction at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 5 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Burial was at Mayflower Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Holmgren officiated. Annette Rehmke was organist. Arrangements were made by Hayden's Funeral Home.

The children died of smoke inhalation and burns on March 2.

Kelly was born December 6, 1972 at Iowa City, the daughter of Richard and Nancy Romer Stetler. She attended St. Mark's Sunday School.

She is survived by her mother, grandparents, Mrs. Marion Romer, Lee Romer and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stetler and great-grandmothers, Mrs. Francis Bahnsen and Mrs. Geraldine Romer.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Pallbearers were Kenneth DeMoss, Dale Lietz, Richard Toerber and Charles Wolfe.
