Funeral services were held for Rochelle Rae Berg, 4, of Oxford Junction at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7 at Carsons Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial was at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa. The Rev. Doug Holmgren of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Oxford Junction, officiated at the services.

Rochelle died March 2 of smoke inhalation and burns.

She was born September 21, 1973 at Maquoketa, the daughter of Allen and Barbara Lindemier Berg. She attended St. Mark's Sunday School.

In addition to her parents, survivors are her sister, Rebecca; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Lindemier of Baldwin and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Berg of Preston; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schoenherr of Otter Creek and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lindemier of Maquoketa and paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Caroline Hendricksen of Preston.

Pallbearers were Donald Martin, John Bartels, Merle Fields and Kenneth Koontz.
