Mrs. Marcia Byers, 66, Anamosa, died early Monday morning, May 23, at a Cedar Rapids hospital, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 25, at 2 p.m., at the Goettsch Funeral home. Rev. J. Ellis Webb officiated. Burial was in the Wilcox cemetery, Olin.

Pallbearers included James Haiton, Louie Brown, Otto Reimer, Charles Whitters, Laverne Hess and Joe Berry.

Survivors include 2 sons, Lawrence Byers, Cedar Rapids, and Dean Byers, Runnells; two sisters, Mrs. Clayton Hartman, Anamosa, and Miss Myrtle Evans, Los Angeles, Calif.

Others include two brothers, Will Evans, Cedar Rapids, and Frank Evans, Waterloo; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
