OLIN--Lulu G. Whitmore, Cedar Rapids, former Olin resident, died Sunday, May 15, at her home following a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m., at the Turner chapel, Cedar Rapids. Rev. Jack Oliver officiated.

Further services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the E.U.B. church, Olin.

Mrs. Whitmore was born July 4, 1881, at Olin. She was a member of the First Christian church, the 3 L class, and the American Legion auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Maj. Ralph Whitmore, San Antonio, and Gail Whitmore, Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband in January of 1947; a daughter, Blanche Whitmore, Sept. 3, 1953; and a son, Eugene Whitmore, Sept. 25, 1958.
