OLIN--Mrs. Don Wood, 23, died Wednesday, May 18, at University hospital, Iowa City, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral home, Olin, Rev. John Schlosser, officiated.

She was born Delores Gilmore on June 2, 1936, daughter of Forrest and Hazel Conley Gilmore, Pine River, Minn. She was the sixth of seven children in the family.

After moving to Olin with her parents, she attended the local public school and for a time was employed at Clinton Engines, Maquoketa. Nov. 18, 1954, she was united in marriage to Donald Edward Wood, Olin.

She is survived by her husband, Don; her mother; three sisters, Mildred Pangborn, Redwood City, Calif.; Velma Fall, Hale, and Mary Ann Mayfield, Olin.

Other survivors include three brothers, Harold Gilmore, San Pablo, Calif.; George Gilmore, Lisbon, and Robert Gilmore, Davenport; two step-sons, Kenneth and Edward; a half brother, Paul, Lost Nation, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.
