Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Wyoming, for Tressa Griswold, 87, of Wyoming. She died Thursday, October 13, at Anamosa.

Rev. Charles Johnson conducted funeral services, and burial was in the Wyoming Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lyman Thompson, William Walters, Ralph Orth, Delbert Mayberry, Fred Buchholtz and Louis Wright.

Mrs. Griswold was born near Canton on October 1, 1890, the daughter of Joel and Mary Gilmore Reyner. She was educated in the Canton and Wyoming schools and married Raymond Griswold at Dubuque on March 22, 1911. The couple lived the first three years of their marriage in Maryland, but farmed in Wyoming the rest of their married lives. Mrs. Griswold moved to Wyoming after the death of her husband in 1958.

She was a member of the Everready Club and the Hawthorne Club.

She is survived by a son, Raymond, of Wyoming; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Foreman of North Judson, Indiana, and Mrs. Evelyn Babcock of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and six sisters.
