Funeral services for Glen Norton, 51, Vallejo, California, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 9 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Vallejo. Rev. John Zelton officiated with burial in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery there.

Pallbearers were friends, Bob Holcomb, H. W. Hall, Jim Reed, Don Singleton, John Wallace, Sr., and Blendon Nelson, all of Vellejo.

Mr. Norton had a heart attack July 12 and died August 30. He was born December 14, 1925 at Olin, the son of Harry and Pauline Von Roden Norton. He grew up in Olin, and was an Army veteran.

On return from the service he married Grace Frank, Olin, on November 3, 1946. The couple moved to Vellejo where he was the owner of Norton's Auto Sales and a member of the Vallejo Golf Club. The couple resided 26 years in Vellejo.

He is survived by his wife, three children, Michael and Mrs. Kathy Bentz, both of Vellejo, and Mrs. Peggy Cairney, Fresno, California; one granddaughter, Lisa, also of Fresno; His mother, Mrs. Robert Zeadow, Olin; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Byers, Tipton, Mrs. Ray Schaef, Morley, Mrs. Willard McDonald, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Irene Vik, Hiawatha, Mrs. Dorothy Dundee, Baldwin; a brother, Frank Norton, Vallejo; and many nieces and nephews. His father preceded him in death in 1950.
