Oxford Junction, Ia., Sept. 28--Friends of E. C. Cooper were shocked to hear of his death which occurred Sunday afternoon. Mr. Cooper was going to ride a horse and jumped on his back when in some manner the animal stumbled and threw the rider on the head. Mr. Cooper walked to the doctor and was given the proper attention and then walked home and laid down to rest. He fell asleep and never woke. Doctors were summoned, but to no avail. He leaves to mourn his death a wife and six small children. The body was taken to Monticello Tuesday morning, where burial was made.
