Victor Glenn, 72, of Olin, passed away Thursday, September 1, in Cedar Rapids.

Memorial services were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 3, in the Olin United Methodist church, with the Rev. Ralph Grote officiating. Mrs. Tom Levsen was organist. Mrs. John Flaa sang, "How Great Thou Art" and "Just a Closer Walk With Thee." Granddaughters, Mrs. Rick Fowler sang "Amazing Grace" accompanied by Jamee Glenn on the piano. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dillon Story, Fred Bunting, Raymond Batchelder, Larry Jones, Clarence Taylor and Henry Weseman.

Born near Olin October 2, 1904, he was the son of Edgar and Wilda Ellis Glenn. His education was obtained in rural schools near Olin. On November 16, 1922 he was married to Rose Dusanek at Anamosa. The couple has farmed north of Olin all of their lives. Mr. Glenn was a member of the Olin United Methodist church.

two sons, James Calvin and Willis Howard, both of Olin, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
