Dillon Propst Sr., 84, Wyoming, died Tuesday at Davenport Osteopathic Hospital.

The funeral was held Friday, September 3rd at Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial was in the South Mineral Cemetery near Onslow.

Mr. Propst was born December 26, 1891, in Wyoming to Ira and Mary Eye Propst. He married Ida Warren on April 7, 1917, in Maquoketa. Mr. Propst was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Veda Gruenhagen, Davenport; three sons, Dillon Jr., Grand Mound; Ira, Tecumseh, Michigan, and Howard, Branson, Missouri; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.
