Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ed (Bessie) Kostichek, 81, Oxford Junction, Tuesday afternoon at Hayden's Funeral Home. Burial was at the Mayflower Cemetery in Oxford Junction. Officiating at the services was the Rev. Ramon Booth, Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Kostichek died Saturday morning, September 4th, at her home.

She was born June 28, 1895, near Oxford Junction, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Yarolem Balichek. On February 14, 1917, she married Ed Kostichek. They farmed near Wyoming for two years and then moved to their home in Oxford Junction, where they had lived since then.

In addition to her husband, survivors are nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

The pallbearers were Blair Williams, Harlan Busch, Emile Koranda, Emile Burian, Jerry Mulvihill and Edward Straka.
