Etta Jacobson, 65, died August 4th at University Hospitals in Iowa City after a long illness.

She was the daughter of John and Mary Juilfs Behrends, born May 23, 1911 in Jones County. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

She married Joe Jacobson October 7, 1931 in Wisconsin. During their life time, the couple lived in Owatonna, Wisconsin, Santa Barbara, California, Onslow and Wyoming, Iowa.

She is survived by one son, Harlan of Wyoming; one grandson; one granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Ann) Potter of Anamosa, Mrs. Anthony (Mabel) Sanfilippo of San Jose, California, Mrs. Dean (Bernice) Mead of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, John Juilfs of Anamosa, Edwin Juilfs of Maquoketa, Donald Juilfs of Baltimore, Maryland.

Mrs. Jacobson was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and one infant son.

Services will be Friday, August 6th at 1:30 p.m. in the Lutheran Church, Wyoming. Burial will be at the Wyoming Cemetery.
