Lee Green Streets, 77, died July 21, 1976 at the Monticello Senior Home. He was born July 5, 1899 in Jones County. He was the son of Tom and Nora Casteel Streets. He graduated from High School and attended Lennox College. He then moved to a farm near Scotch Grove in 1920 and farmed there until 1961. He farmed near Hopkinton until 1974 when he entered the Monticello Senior Home.

He was a member and elder of the Scotch Grove and Hopkinton Presbyterian Churches.

He is survived by two sisters Mrs. Marion (Florence) Clark, Ontario, California and Mrs. Hazel McDonald of Center Junction; six nephews and four nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one infant sister.

Services were held Saturday July 24th, at the Scotch Grove Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Osborn officiating. The casket bearers were Eugene Streets, Tom Streets, Dale Streets, Cecil Perkins, John McDonald and Charles Clark.
