Lillian Mae Urban Norris passed away suddenly July 17, 1976 at the John McDonald Hospital, Monticello, Iowa.

She was born January 18, 1888, to Emma Matejka Urban and Frank Urban. She taught school in Madison Township for 8 years. She was married at Anamosa on February 25, 1917 to Frank H. Norris of rural Center Junction. They farmed in this area until the death of her husband in 1960. She remained there with her son until 1962 and then moved to Wyoming with her sister, Dora Rathje.

She is survived by one son, Lewis of Onslow; one sister, Dora Rathje of Wyoming; two granddaughters, Cindy and Susan of Onslow; two grandsons, Paul of Florida and Richard of Oregon; two nephews, Lavern Urban, Greenfield, Wisconsin and Russel Norris of Index, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her parents, one son, Glenn and four brothers.

The services were held Tuesday, at 10:30 at the Haydens Funeral Home. Burial was at the North Madison Pioneer Cemetery in Center Junction. The Rev. John Osborn officiated. The pallbearers were Carl Seehusen, Robert Leonard, Roy Walters, Paul Dietiker, Howard Andrews and Raymond Taylor.
