Onslow, Ia., March 14--Mr. John Dennison died at his home one-half mile east of Onslow, on Friday afternoon at the age of 83 years. Mr. Dennison was one of the early settlers of this place and was loved and respected by a large circle of friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his aged wife, three sons and three daughters, namely: John of California, Will of Onslow, J. Beldon of St. Paul, Mrs. Lizzie McAlister of Hopkington, Mrs. Anna Boomhoar of New York and Mrs. John Kennedy of Onslow, besides other relatives and a large number of friends. He was a kind and loving husband and father, always ready to help any one in need. His death will be mourned by the entire community.

Mr. Will Lamey and wife of Maquoketa and Mr. Joe Wasson and wife of Anamosa attended the funeral of Mr. Dennison on Monday.
