Forest McClure, 51, Oxford Mills, was killed instantly Friday when a tree fell on him while he was cutting timber north of Massillon.

McClure was cutting wood with his son on the Peter Skinner farm when the accident occurred. He operated the sand pit north of Massillon.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Richard, and two daughters, Marilyn and Marlene.
