Sandra K. Moenk, 28, passed away on Sunday, April 11 at Rochester following complication from kidney disease.

She was born February 20, 1948 at Anamosa, the daughter of Lewis and Vesta Rockwell Moenk.

She was a graduate of Midland High School and she graduated from Luther College in 1970.

She taught English at Clinton High School until ill health forced her resignation.

She is survived by her parents, paternal grandfather, Mr. Henry Moenk, 2 brothers, Daryl, Troy Mills, and Robert, at home, 1 sister, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Batey, State Center.

She was preceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandmother, and 1 niece.

Services were held Thursday, April 15 at the Zion Lutheran church. Pastor Don Feuerhak officiated.

Pall bearers were Paul Hansen, Darwin Betzer, Ron Snyder, Daryl Carstensen, Kenneth Hanna and Gary Brunscheen.

Burial was in the Wyoming Cemetery.
